![]() ![]() ![]() Since it is running on a WASAPI driver, it will only be available as a DAW output in WASAPI/DirectSound link from DAW. This will not change with version 4 of Reference. So to clarify again, Reference 4 Systemwide is running on a WASAPI driver - it always has been. ![]() Hi Christoph, thanks for the comment and apologies for the lag in response here! Have I got the wrong end of the stick here? I assumed adding ASIO compatibility to Systemwide would allow it to accept the ASIO outputs from a variety of applications as the audio input to Reference 4 and correct it from there? Leaving ASIO in place then switching my outputs back to MME (in Izotope RX7 for example) or DirectX (Celemony Capstan) or Audition 3.0 Windows Sound (Adobe Audition 3) and I get the input and hear the output of Reference. However, switching the audio output of any of my applications to ASIO doesn't seem to work: it doesn't go through Reference but straight to the output without any of the desired modification. First click on Test output is curiously silent but the second click gets the expect "Left. I've switched Current Output Device by clicking Relaunch in ASIO. I just installed v4.4 build 156 today and tried to switch it over to ASIO operation but don't seem to be able to do anything to get it working as I'd expect. I've been working with Systemwide 4.3 for a few months installed on a Win10 PC based DAW with various pro editing, audio restoration and remastering software. ![]()
